ASTM C 939 — Time of Flow of fluid hydraulic cement grout

Objective :- Determining the time of efflux of a specified volume of fluid hydraulic cement grout through a standardized flow cone and used for preplaced-aggregate (PA) concrete.

Testing Procedure :-

• Grout Flow Cones measure the flow ability of hydraulic grout used in preplaced aggregate concrete.
• In the other hand Flow ability is measured by time of discharge of a 1.725L sample of grout through an 12.7mm dia. discharge tube orifice from the cone.
